Last year, Burbank Sport Nets installed netting from dugout to dugout. The size of the net was higher than the normal backstop and presented a great challenge for us to install. I have been using Burbank Sport Nets for cages, field screens and backstop netting since we ordered the original solo hitter at Rollins. When we came to Newberry and we began construction on our new $3.5 million complex I wanted to make certain that everything was done first class. We contacted Burbank for all of our needs because they have the best product but they also take very good care of us. I gave them some ideas of how I wanted our new batting cages to work which would incorporate bullpen mounds and the ability to retract nets to allow live hitting in a large area. I had diagrams and a response in one day. This cage system will elevate our practices as well as our facility when it is completed.
