St. Johns River State College Baseball and Softball

In 2010, St. Johns River State College put themselves on the athletics map by building new baseball and softball fields complete with a covered batting tunnel facility. Each field sports an invisible UDR2 Dyneema tieback backstop system with concrete netting support poles. Burbank Sport Nets also installed a custom shell-style batting tunnel netting system with divider curtains. Head Baseball Coach Ross Jones helped spear-head the efforts to build the fields and was instrumental in making it happen. After construction was completed, SJRSC was left with one of the best collegiate facilities in the nation (at any level).

Nashville Sounds Ballpark

This new ballpark in downtown Nashville, TN is a 10,000-seat stadium that is scheduled to be ready for the Sounds home opener April 17. The stadium will feature Burbank Indoor Custom Batting Cages, and a UDR2 Dyneema Premium Backstop Netting system for ultimate visibility and protection. A Bell Associates and Barton Malow project.

No More Steel Worries: Oklahoma University (Norman, OK), L. Dale Mitchell Baseball Stadium has finished the final stages of its most recent facelift. Construction project has added more box seats and field turf behind homeplate and in foul territory. The additions were added in an effort to allow fans to become more intimate with the play on the diamond, and the new seats raised stadium capacity to nearly 3,000. Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium, South Bend, IN is one of the best Minor League ballparks around. This beautiful stadium opened in 1987, and its open concourse is considered the template for many later minor league ball parks built in the 1990s.
